Race results from team drivers around the country from October and November of 2010.

TQ and Win at Utah State Championships

Nathan Lavery TQ’s and Wins the 13.5 4wd class at the Utah State Championships at IRCR Raceway in Magna Utah. Nathan’s SX10 4w was powered by Tekin RS series speed control and Redline brushless motor.

Region 8 Championships

Team Driver David Alberico competed in 3 classes – all A Main appears at the Region 8 Championships. Finishing 3rd in 2wd Modified Buggy, 4th in 4wd Modified Buggy, and 4th in Modified Short Course, showing David is one of the best all around racers in Region 8!!!!

South African National Championship Round 4

Our Partners from jADRENALyNE RACING in South African have sent us a report on the 4th and final round of the South African National Championships. TQ Race Products joined the National series mid way through, but has made an immediate impact. Eben Coetzee gave TQ its first ever victory in the South African National Series by being the Top Qualifier and winning all three A Main in the highly competitive Modified Stadium Truck class. Eben finished 3rd overall in the National Series only one point behind second place – and he only completed 2 events with his TQ SX10 T.

Jan Labuschange also claimed the Over 40 National Championship by winning the “Jurassic” Class in the final round with his new SX10 4w, in his first race with the new car. Jan also finished 4th overall in the National Series in the Stadium Truck Stock class with his SX10 T.

Graham Hewer struggled with technical issues on his SX10 2w, but after using the buggy at the last two rounds of the Championship this year he and everyone at jADRENALyNE RACING are excited about next years Championship using TQ Race Products!!!

Northeast Grand Prix – RCHR, CT

Team Driver Justin Lopes qualified 4th in Modified Truck A Main, after leading several minutes of the 8 minute race, had to settle for a 3rd place finish.  Justin also qualified 9th in the 2wd Modified A Main and finished 6th in the hard fought main event.  Customer Jonathan Sol qualified 4th and finished 3rd with SX1- SC in the 17.5 SC class.  He also made the A main in Limited 2wd, but an early accident left him out of the race

SC Shootout- Leisure Hours    

Leisure Hours hosted a real to life style SC shootout with “land rush” starts, set laps and caution laps just like in full scale short course competition.  Team Drivers Cory Crosley, Ray Kindstrom and Mike “Zippy” Ziolkowski all attended.  Cory won the Modified SC class, with Zippy coming in 6th place. Ray finished 2nd in the SC Stock class, again showing the ability of the TQ Short Course program!!
